- Deep ploughing and thoroughly mixing castor cake with soil gives better results than its application on soil surface.
- For better result mix the castor cake with soil atleast 2 weeks prior to plantation.
- Castor cake when mixed with soil/manure around the roots of plants and vegetables will makes the soil more receptive to nutrient uptake.
