Refined Castor Oil (F.S.G. / B.S.S.)

First Special Grade (F.S.G.) Castor Oil is bleached to British Standards Specifications (B.S.S.) It is a yellow viscous liquid free from suspended matter and is insoluble in water.
Commercial Grade Castor Oil is refined by undergoing bleaching and filtering process. Bleaching is done using bleaching earth and activated carbon, which helps to reduce colour and moisture content. The refining process removes excess impurities from Castor Oil such as FFA (Free Fatty Acids), colloidal matter and phospholipids. Refining Castor Oil also extends the shelf life of the Castor Oil.
